This workshop is designed to increase participants' awareness about how race and racism is positioned in the delivery of substance use treatment. Through didactic and experiential exercises participants will develop both knowledge and skills to identify the systemic implications of race and institutional racism on substance use treatment services. Recommendations will be provided for dismantling racism and adopting diversity, equity and inclusive practices from a multisystemic perspective.
